![]() Interlochen Center for the Arts is the recipient of the National Medal of Arts and the only organization in the world that brings together: a 2,500-student summer camp program a 500-student fine arts boarding high school opportunities for hundreds of adults to engage in fulfilling artistic and creative programs two 24-hour listener-supported public radio stations (classical music and news) more than 600 arts presentations annually by students, faculty and world-renowned guest artists a global alumni base spanning eight decades, including leaders in arts and all other endeavors. Prior to beginning employment, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and all new hires will be required to submit proof of vaccination prior to their start date. Ability and willingness to work as part of a team. ![]() Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the eligibility requirements of ICA’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).Must meet and maintain background screening requirements as detailed in policy 12.HR.01 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Photoshop)Ĭertifications, Licenses or Special Training:.Music notation software (Sibelius, Dorico).Experience working with binding materials a plus.Experience working with LibGuides a plus.Proficient in using music notation software (Sibelius, Dorico).Previous experience working in a library required experience working in an ensemble library preferred.Participate in school-wide committee work as appropriateĮvening and occasional weekend hours will be required.Assist in the supervision of community service students and summer interns.Work with library staff on special projects dealing with outreach, programming, and other library initiatives.Update and create music LibGuides to highlight items in the collection.Teach Music Library information sessions as needed.Plan Music Library events and outreach activities.Assist with the preparation of materials for the summer arts camp.Assist in the preparation of ensemble materials (copying and taping parts, binding scores, marking bowings, numbering measures, editing parts, transcribing parts, etc.).Circulate scores, sound recordings, and other Music Library items.Provide a high level of reference to students, faculty, and staff.Provides a collection that reflects and anticipates patrons’ needs. ![]()
